After receiving a Burn Permit ID, the user can navigate to the Start/Stop Burn page.

The user can enter their ID and submit the form. After successful submission, they will see a page with two sections, Burn Permit Information and “What do you want to burn?”

Burn Permit Information

The first section details the basic info of this particular Burn Permit. When the Burn Permit was granted, who it was granted to, and for what location.

If starting a burn…

You will see a text field for the user to enter what they plan to burn and a button marked, “Start Burn”. Pressing the Start Burn button will start the burn. The date, time, and burn materials will be saved to the database. In the admin section this burn permit will be switched to active.

If stopping a burn…

Current Burn Information

The date and time that burn was started is displayed as well as what materials were to be burned.

Pressing “Stop Burn” will stop the burn and reset the process. The date and time the burn was stopped will be saved to the database. In the admin section this burn permit will no longer be active.
